EDTA chelation suppositories can only be effective when freshness is protected for optimal potency. This requires commitment to this ideal on the part of the distributor (me) who provides them - and knowledge on what to do at your end to keep your products fresh.

Question: I am worried the products aren't fresh because on the outside of the package, it says 'Perishable / Freeze Upon Arrival' and the products were room temperature when they arrived?

Answer: I am a stickler for freshness, and like to optimize. I also put 'Perishable' on package to make sure US Mail people don't do something like put package near a heat source - I always try to think 'worst case scenario' and avoid it.

Question: What if EDTA chelation suppositories are soft or melted when they arrive?

A Customer Asks: Received my order today (Medicardium)and put it in the freezer right away as instructed. I am concerned however since it was not frozen when I received it..in fact a little warm. Does that effect the product at all and its effectiveness or turn bad?

Answer: No problem whatsoever, in fact, the ingredients are warm and in liquid form when made. Even if warm enough to melt the contents, if no leakage, suppositories could be frozen and used as long as they did not stay melted for long and at not too high a temperature.

It is ideal to keep them in your freezer for easier insertion and also for long term viability. The suppository products are also stored in a freezer and taken out only when packed for shipping. Medicardium keeps the best since there are no herbal extracts in it. If kept in freezer, it will keep indefinitely; the other products will keep for a few years.

Answer: Glytamins and the other suppository products never have expiry date listed. Not to worry; these products move well and we are always ordering more, so what you get is always the freshest batch.

You should store them in freezer. That way they will last a few years, assuming they are fresh from the company you bought them from.

Question: Why do I have to pay for Priority Express Mail International 3 - 7 day shipping for international orders of suppository products?

Answer: The short answer: I want you to receive your detox products in the very best condition possible so you get the full benefit of these wonderful formulas. AND I want to minimize any chance, however small, that customs could delay or confiscate these supplements on which you just spent some good money.

The details:

I understand very well your concern over the cost of shipping. It has been dismaying to see the steep rise in postal rates in the recent past.

I've been trying to keep shipping/handling prices down. Though customarily I add a few $ handling for the extra care and time spent to securely pack your items, I sometimes end up paying more than a customer did for shipping their package.

My standards for freshness and effectiveness of products do not allow me to ship by cheap method that may take 2 weeks to get to you. Suppository products, especially, tend to be more perishable than most, so do best shipped faster.

Just as important is the possibility that you could lose a lot of money if your package is confiscated. Once your package leaves the US, I have no further control over it and accept no responsibility if it gets confiscated - I do not want to risk you losing money if this were to happen. Shipping by the fastest most reliable method to go thru customs is BEST way to ship overseas.

It is extremely rare for Express Mail packages to get confiscated - generally only in high risk countries such as Brazil. Priority or First Class Mail (cheapest) are much riskier to get through customs.

Shipping worldwide, I have found that Express gets more reliably thru customs as well. Having had a few packages 'disappear' when shipped cheaper was not acceptable to me and so I stopped doing that.

To ship to you, a box big enough to attach proper forms is required, even for a small item. **International shipping fees are what I have to pay, to ship to you by Express Mail (sometimes it even costs me a bit more lately and I do not ask for the difference). I am NOT trying to make profit on shipping.**

Question: How do I store the detox suppositories to maintain potency?

Answer: Ideally, keep them in the freezer. You should insert them frozen; it is quite comfortable, with 2 advantages - 1 - They are most sturdy and easy to push in / 2 - The ingredients will not be melting on the way in - inserting frozen minimizes any small possibility of irritating external tissues. Once inside, the cocoa butter distributes the active ingredients around the inside walls of the rectal area and they are easily absorbed.
